Crown Yoga – from physical and mental health to life awakening contains a series of questions about the “Kuafu” of life

Questioning the “Kuafu” of life — Preface to Chinese version of crown Yoga — from physical and mental health to life Awakening   Li Lian, director of the Institute of Buddhist culture of Northwestern University, professor and doctoral supervisor of Northwestern University   As an outstanding writer, Mr.

Pan Lin has made remarkable achievements.

His novels, essays, character reviews and other works have already become excellent works read by many readers in China.

His philosophical achievements and philosophical works undoubtedly make Mr.

Pan Lin shoulder the ranks of contemporary philosophers.

But these are only the “insect carving skills” of Mr.

Pan Lin’s academic attainments.

What really fascinates Mr.

Pan Lin is his life science.

After decades of painstaking research and physical and mental practice, conforming to the trend of civilization development, Mr.

Pan Lin explored the life science rooted in the 5000 year history of civilization and life cultivation between China and India.

Mr.

Pan Lin solemnly declared to the world with a shocking voice: Westerners deny the value and scientific connotation of our Oriental civilization, which is one of the biggest prejudices in modern human history.

It can only be said that there is no natural science in our civilization like that in western history, but we have our own science – in-depth study of life and have made incomparable brilliant achievements.

These in-depth studies and brilliant achievements have officially formed a “life science” system since our generation – another huge scientific system besides natural science and social science.

Mr.

Pan Lin is regarded as the only successor and mentor of crown yoga in India and has gained great popularity in the world.

He taught crown yoga in India, the birthplace of yoga in the world, and became the only yoga instructor from China officially hired by the Ministry of health and family welfare, the highest research and administrative organization of yoga in India.

This event itself has brought a great shock to the Yoga circles in China and India, which is called “Pan Lin phenomenon” by the media.

Based on my preliminary analysis, the reasons for the vibration caused by the “Pan Lin phenomenon” in Chinese Yoga circles are as follows.

Since yoga was introduced into China, almost all Chinese Yoga lovers, like lovers from other countries in the world, have regarded India as the mother country of Yoga without exception.

She is the birthplace of yoga in the world.

Almost every Chinese Yoga lover has a wish to have the opportunity to go to India to further study yoga as a student, or as a devout yoga practitioner to worship Yoga holy land and yoga masters in that magical country.

But the “Pan Lin phenomenon” gives Chinese people a great enlightenment: Yoga is the foundation of the whole oriental civilization and the public instrument in the world.

Not only the Indian people can make achievements in yoga practice and research, but our Chinese people can also make achievements no less than anyone else.

We Chinese are a wise nation in history, and we are also a creative nation in contemporary times.

We have no reason to lower our reputation.

“Pan Lin phenomenon” undoubtedly provides a powerful proof for the rise of self-confidence of our people, especially in the field of yoga in China.

In India, Indian yogis have been invited to other countries to teach yoga for nearly a hundred years, or even thousands of years.

Now, Mr.

Pan Lin has been invited by the Indian people to teach yoga in India for the first time, and has been officially hired as a yoga instructor by the Indian Ministry of health and family welfare to do long-term research and yoga professor in the “Central Committee for yoga and natural therapy research” within the Ministry of welfare.

In a short time, Mr.

Pan Lin set off a crown Yoga fever in India! Both local yogis and ordinary Yoga lovers have been taught by Mr.

Pan Lin, including well-known yoga masters, ascetics, famous professors and celebrities.

This has also brought great shock to India, which has always been known as the “source of yoga”.

Mr.

Pan Lin broke or rewritten the history that yoga has only been exported but never imported in India.

This event rewriting the history of thousands of years since India’s own yoga has naturally aroused strong repercussions in Indian yoga and Indian cultural circles.

Now let’s take our eyes back from the “Pan Lin phenomenon” caused by Mr.

Pan Lin in India and take a look at the development status of yoga in China.

In my humble opinion, there are some problems as follows: first, generalize.

At present, Hatha Yoga is the main yoga in China, and there are almost no other genres of yoga.

Hatha Yoga is a dominant branch in China.

As everyone knows, Hatha Yoga (also translated as hatha yoga, hada yoga, etc.) is only one of the various schools of traditional yoga in India.

Moreover, this kind of yoga is not very popular in Indian history.

It only gradually became popular in the West in modern times, and then spread from the west to the East, including China.

In recent years, the rise of “flow yoga”, “hot yoga”, “Slimming yoga” and “men’s Yoga” in the world, including China, is nothing more than a little change on the basis of Hatha Yoga.

Its essence is Hatha Yoga.

In the past, people have the illusion that Hatha Yoga is the whole of yoga.

Yoga has a long history, broad and profound.

It constitutes a unique knowledge, which we can call “Yoga”.

In the long-term historical spread, yoga has formed many schools, each of which is wonderful and has broad connotation.

These wonderful yoga schools with broad connotation have their irreplaceable value and significance.

If we only limit our understanding of yoga to the narrow scope of Hatha Yoga, it is bound to make the mistake of generalizing and peeping at the leopard.

If this mistake can not be corrected in time, it will be very unfavorable and even very harmful to the further development of yoga in China and around the world.

It is very necessary for Chinese Yoga circles to give a clear understanding and understanding of this.

2、 The reason why Hatha Yoga is not popular in Indian history is that it is only the entry stage or low-level stage of yoga practice.

In Indian history, those yogis have a clear understanding of the status of Hatha Yoga in history.

Because Hatha Yoga plays only an auxiliary or primary role in yoga practice, Hatha Yoga cannot be valued by orthodox yogis in history.

However, since Hatha Yoga spread to China, it has become a synonym for Chinese yoga.

Because Hatha Yoga attaches great importance to the training of difficult movements and postures, so that the vast majority of Chinese people and yoga lovers mistakenly believe that yoga is equivalent to difficult movements and postures.

In addition, it is not yoga.

This misunderstanding is very harmful.

It not only makes people not get the due in-depth understanding of yoga at the cultural level, historical level, philosophical level, life growth and ultimate care of life, but also leads people’s yoga practice to a seriously wrong road.

Just think, if the practice of yoga is only equivalent to some difficult movements and postures, what is the difference between yoga and gymnastics? How is it different from jujitsu and soft skills in acrobatics? Yoga has its own complete system and development history.

It has nothing to do with jujitsu and soft skills in acrobatics.

They have completely different cultural and historical backgrounds and different values.

Naturally, they can not be confused.

The difficult movements and postures in Hatha Yoga are just for stretching tendons, activating blood circulation and stretching joints, so as to lay a foundation for the next step of practicing advanced yoga.

If we only limit the practice of yoga to these movements and postures, then yoga is bound to become another style of acrobatics or gymnastics, and completely lose the essence and value of yoga as yoga.

3、 There are no external body adjustment, breath adjustment and heart adjustment.

No yoga practice method can be excluded..
