After all, there are too many hearsay about Atang in the market, and what they hear is often not the whole picture.

Regardless of the cognition of yoga practitioners, it is always useful to listen to the authorized teachers of Atang to share some opinions about Atang, because they are from the past and have been to the source of Atang, and then continue to firmly follow the path of inheriting Atang.

I have always felt that to practice Atang, we should follow the authorized teacher, but the reason is superficial, and it is not as profound and understandable as the authorized teacher Wendy.

“When learning Atang at first, there must be a teacher, an experienced teacher who is close to Atang’s traditional teaching, to lead the students into practice.

As Atang’s teacher, our guidance or assistance to students is based on the students’ current state, that is, the state of breathing when students act as postures, and the state of cognition between breathing and body.

The teacher can only give guidance to students, not replace students to do, no That is to say, the teacher gives students a so-called trick or key point, and students can grasp it.

In the long-term practice of students, the teacher should know exactly what state the students have practiced, and give guidance and advice according to their state.

At first, the teacher will let students discover the relationship between breath and body, and then judge the state of students according to their cognition and their understanding of the relationship between consciousness, breath and body, and continue to guide them.

Atang is a practice.

It is an inward exercise.

It is not like gymnastics, acrobatics and dance.

It requires practitioners to take it back from the outside to the inside, enter their own inner space, and open the door to the inner space.

Atang practice should not take the shape of the asana as the result of practice, but should pay attention to the relationship between breathing and body, the relationship between body and mind, and the relationship between brain and breathing.

The interlaced relationship among the three can improve our cognition, and at the same time, it is important to make the breath, body, and body shape grow in balance.

Some students are old, or their physical condition is not very good, so they just want to practice the Japanese worship.

I have met several such students in my teaching, which is not wrong.

But Atangi sequence is a tool for physical therapy, such as Krishnamacharya and Pattabhi Jois, who give postures according to everyone’s situation, which can cure physical and psychological diseases.

Therefore, when practicing Atang, we should not only focus on the surface of the postures.

If Atang can help the practitioner gain a stronger body, more self-discipline, more open-minded and open-minded heart, more tolerant of all things, and make himself more and more harmonious in all aspects of life, including with others, with family, and with himself, that is the real meaning of practicing Atang.

If we compare Atang practice to an unattainable mountain, our self-practice is like a person groping for the way forward without a guide.

Needless to say, it is difficult and dangerous, and it may also put us in a dangerous situation.

After all, the road and climate in the mountain are changeable, and everyone is so weak in front of nature.

But on the way up the mountain, if there is a guide around us, our hearts will be much more secure.

We don’t need to worry about missing the beautiful scenery, let alone be afraid of entering unnecessary pits.
