Yoga Reading Notes | Yoga Training Notes | Yoga Practice Insights | Yoga People’s Stories | Yoga and Life (This is a column that tells the stories of yoga people, with the protagonists being you, me, and others.
If this story can touch your heart, even for a moment, that’s enough!) Finally, in April 2022, I completed the task of writing and publishing five stories of yoga people in Q4 2021.
I don’t have procrastination, and I’m a strong executive.
But for various reasons, my series of Yoga stories is a bit delayed.
However, I will work hard to continue refining my goals and see if I can write 5 more stories about yoga practitioners in the next 3 months.
Reflecting on the writing process of these 5 stories, I am making some new attempts.
Every time, I would talk to the interviewees for more than an hour, thank you for your honesty.
The materials we talked about were numerous, but in order to make the article more focused and logical, some of the content was forced to be discarded.
This time, based on interesting materials, I will also write short stories for the interviewees.
On the one hand, I have the opportunity to showcase the interviewees’ feelings and understanding of yoga, and on the other hand, when publishing, the short story and the main story can also be mutually connected.
When writing a story, I found myself in a state of ups and downs.
Sometimes, after chatting with the interviewees, the ideas are very clear.
As long as the structure of the article is established, the content can be quickly filled in and the writing can be completed efficiently.
But sometimes, when I look at the content that the interviewees are chatting about, my eyes are a bit wide open, and my mind is full of thoughts.
There are many topics, and the relevance is not very strong.
How to sort and choose is really a challenge.
At this point, I felt a bit uneasy and had to choose when my mind was clear, sort out the key points, start writing the first draft, and then constantly make adjustments.
This situation often occurs when the topics discussed by the interviewees differ from my expectations.
Based on my previous work relationship, I have a certain idea when writing this kind of story.
If I have a better understanding of the interviewee’s background, I would set the story context and ask questions based on it.
However, the reality is that often what I want to know is that the interviewee does not talk about rich content, but can shine brightly on other topics.
Okay, I have to follow the direction of the interviewee and challenge my logical ability and writing skills.
Although the process was a bit tricky, I was still very satisfied after the article was published.
Let’s review the protagonists of these 5 episodes of Yoga Man Stories together, Leibao, Feifei, Yixin, Vince, Weiwei, and thank them for their support and cooperation with me
