Yoga boat style tailbone landing – insufficient core strength? This is the right way to practice!

Follow us with the blue letters on it! When many people do yoga boat pose, due to insufficient core strength, it can cause the tailbone to land on the ground, and over time, the tailbone will experience pain.

So, for students who land on their tailbone, it is recommended to make the following four simple variants to gradually strengthen the core and prepare for the complete boat style later on.

1.

Boat sitting with elbows on the ground, with elbows pushed back and legs together and lifted up, maintaining 5 breaths.

2.

Knee bending boat sitting with knees slightly bent and knees together, spine straight, hands holding the back of knees for 5 breaths.

3.

Half of the hand grabbing the big toe for balanced sitting, left hand grabbing the left big toe, left leg extending and right leg bending, with the back of the foot taut, and knees close to the chest cavity for 5 breaths.

4.

Hand grabbing the big toe for balanced sitting, Grasp the big toes with both hands, straighten the legs back, and straighten the back, slightly bend the elbows to maintain 5 breaths.

Achieving boat position is not the goal, but finding strength and balance during this process.
