Experience | What is the feeling of being a C-person in a yoga classroom?

Yoga Reading Notes | Yoga Training Notes | Yoga Practice Insights | Yoga People’s Stories | Yoga and Life (Others’ inventory is all photos or videos, mine is only articles, all written last year, fortunately, the content is still very fresh! There are no difficult pose techniques or so-called pose shortcuts here, just the daily thoughts of a yoga practitioner, real, sincere, and truthful!) Traditional Astonga Yoga Classroom, It is very distinctive, without the need for tall decorations or unique designs.

The simple white wall is very clean and looks very comfortable.

If the classroom has good lighting and ventilation, it is even more a blessing for yoga practitioners.

Now when I think of some gyms built in basements with no ventilation at all, I doubt the significance of exercising like that, without even fresh air? I have always been a low-key person.

During classes at a yoga studio, I didn’t go to the first row.

There were no powerful postures to showcase, and I didn’t expect to have the teacher assist me a few times in front of me.

I am nearsighted and never wear glasses when practicing yoga.

I am afraid of crushing my glasses or accidentally hurting myself, so I choose a position closer to the teacher, such as in the middle of the second row, just to see the teacher’s demonstration movements clearly when encountering poses that I cannot do.

The remaining postures rely on listening to the teacher’s guidance through the ears, as well as paying attention to one’s own breathing and bodily sensations.

I found that Teacher Zou Jie always practices in the C position of Mysore Classroom.

In the middle of the first row, he faces two portraits of Tang Dashen directly, and most of the students who practice next to him are teaching assistants.

I have a question in my heart.

When practicing, I am very close to the teacher.

Can I take the opportunity to silently absorb his skills? It is estimated that the skill is difficult to absorb, but pressure is inevitable.

Generally speaking, students will choose a comfortable position.

I prefer the position in the right rear corner of the classroom, with a window next to it.

When sweating profusely, a cool breeze suddenly blows in, not to mention how comfortable it is.

If that position is taken first, then I will choose the left rear corner, where there is also a small window.

Perhaps, for a rookie like me, the corner position can give me more sense of security.

Later on, I realized that this kind of corner could actually provide a panoramic view of the entire classroom.

If you want to be distracted, watching the practice progress of other students in the corner is really a panoramic view, with almost no blind spots.

Every time I step onto the mat, I always silently meditate in my heart, pay attention to my breathing, and step into my own world with confidence.

It’s already very delicious, and I dare not even have the heart to secretly glance at others
