Is yoga pose a form of jujitsu?

A few days ago, a friend said, “Isn’t yoga pose just jujitsu? Let’s see how Master B.

Iyengar said that asanas are not jujitsu.

Patangali said: The effect of postures leads us to achieve a perfect body, elegant body shape, lovely beauty, vitality of the body and mind, and diamond like firmness, hardness, and radiance.

As intellectual purity is equivalent to soul purity, the heart becomes soft.

The study of postures has taught me the noble wisdom of yoga practitioners, As Kalidasa said, “Human nature is as hard and bright as a diamond, and as soft as a flower.

Each pose has a beautiful form, noble and elegant, giving us strength, making practitioners as firm as a diamond and as soft as a flower.

When performing poses, there should be no distortion, deformation, or bending, even within extremely small particles of muscle tissue.

This is known as sthira sukham asanan–( Thank God, in the past twenty years, the words’ distortion ‘and’ deformation ‘have disappeared from the dictionary of yoga.

Pose is not jujitsu, it is an art of creating different shapes of the body without changing the anatomical structure.

Just like every part of a car needs to be lubricated in order to run smoothly and for a long time, posture is the lubricant for the car, body, and soul.

To live a healthy and active life, not only do you need automatic massage of joints, muscles, fibers, tendons, and cells, but you also need to fully immerse yourself in exploring unknown areas of the body.

These actions may seem impossible to us, but they have enormous value.

How to evaluate the value of art? Does music and painting also have the same value as gold currency? Art is born for art.

The value of art lies in self satisfaction, happiness, and joy.

Furthermore, its spiritual value cannot be measured.

Yogasana is not entertainment (bhogasana), not various strange twists or bends, but a part of an external journey.
