The notice on holding the yoga class for teachers and staff in the first half of 2023 (the 12th issue) aims to enrich the amateur cultural life of the majority of teachers and staff, gather strength, improve self-cultivation, and meet the 90th anniversary of South China Normal University with a better spirit.

The school union has opened a colorful class for teachers and staff.

Long-term work pressure can easily lead to sub-health of the human body.

In order to better create an atmosphere for physical exercise and promote the physical and mental health of teachers, yoga classes will continue to be opened this semester in line with the activity purpose of “yoga friends, slimming, caring for the physical and mental health of teachers”.

In order to ensure the normal development of yoga classes, the school labor union will actively do a good job in the disinfection of activity places and yoga learning supplies, and teachers participating in the study should also pay attention to developing good hygiene habits.

Conditional teachers can also bring their own yoga mat, yoga blanket and other supplies to further reduce the risk of virus cross-infection.

The instructor of the wonderful moments in the class, Zhang Hong, the teacher of the Institute of Physical Education and Science, the national fitness yoga referee, and the Sino-Indian Yoga Institute jointly cultivate senior yoga instructors.

The participants are members of the trade union of South China Normal University.

(It is recommended that patients with cardiovascular disease, asthma and serious joint disease should not participate in this class.

Because this class is a large class exercise, the teacher may not be able to carefully observe everyone’s physical reactions, and in order to avoid risks, it is not recommended to participate in this class.) Class time and location: 18:00-19:00 every Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in the multi-function hall on the fourth floor of the teaching staff club in Shipai Campus.

Teachers who are willing to take part in yoga classes are invited to take the all-in-one card of Chinese teachers’ teachers to the multi-function hall on the fourth floor of the teachers’ club in Shipai campus at 17:50 every Wednesday evening to register, sign in and participate in the study.

Precautions 1.

Dress: please wear comfortable, loose, breathable or high elastic clothes.

Do not have collar, cap, button, zipper, belt and other designs that affect and restrict the body to make large movements, and do not wear exaggerated accessories, and do not wear heavy makeup.

The lower garment must be able to cover the pubic bone (large range of movement, anti-glare), and can be used for trousers, middle pants, shorts, long sleeves, middle sleeves and short sleeves.

Wear sports underwear without steel support.

If you don’t have sports underwear, you can vacuum it or add a thin suspender inside the short sleeve.

Don’t expose it.

Barefoot.

Bring yourself a large bottle of water, replenish water at any time during the process, drink it slowly and moisten it for a while, don’t fill it with water.

Take a clean and soft towel to wipe sweat (very important)! 4.

Bring a dry coat and change it in time after class.

During class and action, carefully experience the changes of your body, detect the discomfort in time, adjust the range and strength in time, or arrange self rest.

Please keep an empty stomach properly.

One hour before meals and three hours after meals are best.

If you are afraid that you will faint if you practice without eating, you must eat something before class.

Don’t eat too much.

During the physiological period, women should consider the amount of exercise as appropriate, avoid the movement of hips higher than other parts of the body, avoid excessive compression or torsion of the abdomen, and leave room for the abdomen, especially the lower abdomen.

If you feel unwell, you can take a break or choose to go on probation.
