At the beginning, you don’t have to think too much about whether the posture is standard, as long as you stick to it.
Only in the process of persistence will you realize the growth of intelligence.
To grow intellectually, you must learn to stand in three-dimensional posture.
Usually, you won’t do this kind of exercise.
Figure 1 shows the correct mountain pose, figure 2 shows the pelvis leaning backward, and figure 3 shows the pelvis leaning forward.
Why can’t we keep practicing repeatedly? Because we think we are very intelligent human beings.
We think we are very smart, because we can know whether the triangle is standard.
However, we don’t have physical intelligence – that’s what the master called it “physical intelligence”.
Brain intelligence may be very high, but we may not have physical intelligence.
If the body intelligence develops, the brain intelligence will also develop.
Guruji often tells some of his students that maybe they are smarter than him because he is not as well-educated as they are.
But even these people have no physical intelligence.
If the body intelligence develops, the brain intelligence will also develop.
In fact, if you develop physical intelligence, the brain will also become clearer.
In the process of practice, you should first control Tamoguna (the element of dullness).
Once you control Tamoguna, rajoguna (the element of action, passion, etc.) will also emerge.
Then you will feel very excited, say “Oh, now I’m moving! Why do you have to repeat every pose three or four times in class? Because in this way, your body can be fully moved, and your mind can also be moved.
Without the help of your brain, you can’t make poses.
At the beginning of the practice, your brain didn’t participate in it, because you don’t know where to think with your brain, because it hasn’t emerged to tell you how to use it It.
So at this time, you should ask yourself, “how can I use my mind to think?” When practicing asana, you just do it at first, and then intelligence will slowly emerge.
Then the body will be compared with the action being done at present, and the intelligence will begin to work.
Even if you talk to others during practice, your intelligence will disappear.
I often say, “when practicing, you must look at your own actions.
If you talk to others, your mind will be scattered elsewhere from the asana, and then it will gradually disappear.”.
Please digest this principle well.
When you do the left asana and the right asana respectively, you will start to distinguish suryanadi (Yang pulse) and chandranadi (Yin pulse).
You begin to understand Yang and Yin: IDA (left pulse) and pingala (Yin pulse) when you keep balance on the left and right.
If you feel unbalanced, or feel that one side is doing better than the other, the Yang and Yin veins will be awakened, reminding you that the right side is doing better than the left side.
Next, you have to remember your gesture on this side, and then ask yourself, how should you gesture on that side? How do I stretch on this side? How does that side stretch? During the training of asana, you will gradually understand.
Patanjali once said, “why do you do asana?” He said, “tatahdvandvahanabhighatah (y.s.ii.48)”.
There is no duality in asana.
If you do the asana well, duality will not interfere with you.
That’s why you should pay equal attention to the bilateral asanas.
You need to do both side asanas on the basis of understanding.
Standing posture is the best way to understand the left and right sides.
You can easily and conveniently distinguish the differences between the two sides by standing three-dimensional.
But if you don’t know the difference between the left and right side of headstand or side inverted, you don’t have to consider the left and right side of parsvabakasana.
In standing pose, you can easily see the differences on both sides, and you can feel these differences more easily than in handstand pose.
What do you do after standing up? Ayurvedic therapy believes that when taking medicine, you must also take auxiliary tools, such as water or honey.
This is called anupana, which balances drugs.
Similarly, when doing these standing poses, you also need to pay attention to sitting poses to eliminate fatigue.
These three-dimensional seated poses are, mountain seated, leg stretched, supine and angle seated.
These are simple sitting poses that can eliminate fatigue.
Note that asanas can’t be learned in a year or two.
You may think that you have practiced for oneortwo years and are already a master, but you are wrong.
This is impossible.
Remove this idea from your mind.
You must practice continuously.
I don’t think continuous practice itself is a big problem.
Only laziness will stop you from practicing.
However, as a practitioner, you should know that practice is the most important.
You must improve the cycle of asana, which is why I say standing up must be done from head to toe.
You must practice everything! In standing up, every part of the body has been improved, and you can feel that breathing, body circulation, and brain blood flow will be more smooth.
In class, everyone’s training is very regular, but later yoga training is not so regular.
After practicing yoga for two years, the first year is the introduction, the second year is the advanced, and maybe the third year is the big class, which is over! You think “I’ve learned yoga”! absolutely wrong! The deeper you practice, the more benefits you will reap.
The word “benefit” cannot fully describe the benefits of asana.
They can enhance liver function, improve spinal problems, and improve everything.
These are very important for beginners.
We must let them know these “benefits”..
