Sharathji introduces himself to Namaste.
I’m sharathjois, a yogi from Mysore, South India.
I have practiced yoga for 25 to 30 years.
I practiced under the guidance of my grandfather’s k.pattabhijois, who is my teacher and guru.
I have studied with him for many years.
Yoga is accompanied by my growth.
Everyone in my family is a yoga teacher.
My mother and my grandfather are all teaching yoga.
In the process of growing up, I explored yoga through observation and learning.
Now I am mainly in Indian classrooms.
We have a yoga classroom called kpattabhijoisashtangayogainstitute.
We have students from more than 60 countries coming here to study with me.
Left: sharathjois, the leader of Ashtanga middle: pattabhijois, the grandfather of the leader right: saraswathi, the mother of the leader note: This is a group photo taken many years ago.
Although it is a long time ago, how did warm Yoga begin? Ashtanga Yoga was promoted by my grandfather k.pattabhijois.
His teacher was kristnamacharya.
He was also a Sanskrit scholar.
He studied yoga with ramamohana brahmachari.
Ramamohana brahmachari was a yoga master.
He lived in the Himalayas.
He learned a kind of Yoga called vinyasakramayoga there.
Then he passed the knowledge to my grandfather k.pattabhijois, and then my grandfather passed it on to me and others, So this yoga is nothing new.
People have practiced it for millions of years.
As Bhagavadgita (Bhagavad Gita) mentioned: imamvivasvateyogamproktavanahamavayayamvivasvanaveprahamanuriksvakave ‘bravit ā n,Vivasv ā N to the human ancestor manu, Manu to IK ṣ V ā Ku, son of Manu) evamparampara praptamimamrajarsayoviduh (this supreme science is thus inherited by disciples) so yoga is not new.
People have practiced it for millions of years.
(Note: yoga here is not only a asana, it should be understood as the whole Yoga system) when the world began, Yoga also began.
It has a very ancient and long history, and it continues to be spread.
Now there are many students practicing yoga, and these knowledge is being passed on, As the ancient sage Vamana (believed to be the author of yogakorunta) said: vinavinyasayogenaasanadinnakarayet – don’t do asana without vinyasa, so Vinyasa is very important.
It’s very important to connect breathing and movement in asana.
Because this can make our body healthy and purify our respiratory system.
When we do this, we are purifying our nervous system.
We produce an internal energy, which will purify our body and nervous system, so that every organ in our body can be purified and nourished.
This is why Vinyasa is very important.
This form of yoga involves many breathing skills, asanas, and even jumping in tandem.
What we are doing is an ancient practice.
Kristnamacharya, known as the father of modern yoga, why do you think yoga can be developed in recent years? Yoga is very important, because everyone has great pressure, and everyone wants inner peace.
Yoga is the only practice that can calm you down and bring you physical and mental health.
I think people and my students began to realize this, so they began to practice yoga, so yoga is very popular all over the world.
Ashtanga has existed for many years.
My grandfather first brought Ashtanga to western countries in 1974.
He went to the United States in 1974, where he planted the first Ashtanga seed outside India.
Now the seed is growing all over the world, everyone is practicing, and they also benefit a lot from it.
This is why Ashtanga Yoga is becoming more and more popular.
What is the most important part of Ashtanga Yoga? If I meet a person who has never practiced Ashtanga Yoga, the first thing I will say to him or her is: you have to see first.
They have to see how the class is taught and how the teacher leads it.
Just watching the class, you will feel a different kind of energy, which is very important..
