When I first came into contact with yoga, I taught myself at home.

I remember practicing online with “Huilan yoga” and a video from a teacher Yu Ge.

I feel good about myself.

As a passer-by, I would like to express my views on my friends who practice yoga at home.

Start from the most basic, step by step, there is no need to pursue difficult asanas.

This is particularly important.

When I used to practice at home, I sometimes doubted myself, as if it didn’t hurt or itch every day, so I often wanted to challenge some difficult postures to test or prove myself.

Of course, I almost failed.

Then you will doubt that you practice this behavior at home and occasionally lose confidence.

In fact, this is not necessary and don’t worry.

Everyone comes like this.

Remember whether the purpose of yoga is for health or for those difficult postures.

Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished.

I read a book about master Iyengar’s one-day life.

The asanas he practices every morning are: handstand, triangle, camel, these basic asanas.

Give yourself time and space and practice regularly.

If you practice at home alone, you need more self-discipline.

You can choose a time point to practice yoga according to your daily work and rest time.

It’s easier to stick to it, and it’s easier to practice regularly.

Find a long video to follow.

The network is developed, and all kinds of learning resources can be found online.

There are many videos of teaching yoga.

I suggest you can find some videos of the whole class to practice with.

Don’t choose that 3-minute and 5-minute clip to follow.

This is my own experience.

Following the short video practice, I may be distracted in the process of finding the next video.

I feel that I have practiced for an hour, but the process of finding the video may take 40 minutes.

In the process of finding the video, I may also glance at other information.

And the short video practice is not coherent and has no theme.

Although you’ve been practicing, it’s hard to get into the state of concentration.

If you can, in addition to Yoga asanas, you can also learn some culture and knowledge of yoga.

Understanding its culture will help you deepen your understanding of asana.
